Personal Income Tax Preparation Fee

  • Simple Return - $200 ((Includes all T4, T4A, T4E, T5007, T4A(P), T4A(OAS), T4RSP and T5. Also, tuition, medical and donations)

In addition,

  • Investment Return (T3, T5008) - $50 – Per slip

  • Rental Property Income (T776) - $150 – One property (Each additional rental property is $100 each)

  • Self Employment Income (T2125) - $200 for Simple, $250 for Complex with CCA

    • includes one Home Office and one Auto calculation, assuming summarized information is provided

  • if info is not summarized, an hourly bookkeeping rate of $200/hour applies.

  • Fees for complex filings not listed above (e.g., Foreign Income/T1135, Principal Residence Election) will be quoted upon review.

  • Individual consultations (outside of tax preparation) in regards to investment, pensions, payroll, accounting, etc. will be billed at the $200/hour rate.

  • Note that the time required, and consequently the fees, are usual higher for the first year of service to open client’s files, set up the required CRA authorizations and to account for the client’s & accountant’s learning curves.

  • Billable time will be applicable for emails (after the first 2 sent and/or received) at a rate of 10 emails per hour of service (i.e. $20 per email per topic), telephone calls (over 5 minutes), travel and research time required.

  • Travel fees to client’s location (in Edmonton): $40 one-way pick-up / drop-off, $60 for pick-up and drop-off.

  • Minimum charge is 30 minutes per consultation per person.

  • All prices are subject to 5% GST
